I Love Nice People [tee]

I can't wait to get home and start screen printing more stuff ! I have so many ideas for screen printed shirts. I am actually wearing a screen printed shirt that Kaila and I made over Easter break. It was quite fun ! I took a bunch of awesome pictures but then I unfortunately deleted all of the pictures by accident. I took a couple new ones [not as cool as the deleted ones though]

My Workspace [is a mess]

So my desk has recently gotten very messy since studying and exams have begun. So I thought you all might like to see what I keep on my desk. Almost like the 'what's in my purse posts that some people do'.

I am in University so I live in a dorm room [only for two more days] so I have limited space for the things I like to keep around me for fun or for inspiration. 

So here we have my sharpies [must haves], a dragon from McDonalds [it lights up !], some thread, pins and needles and some school folders. 

This is my computer surrounded by school work, toys, and craft supplies. 

This is my full desk. It is quite cluttered, but I like to have all my stuff around me so whenever inspiration strikes I have the supplies around.

This is my [old school] gameboy. I have a newer ish one too.. but this one it just so cool. There is a thrift shop downtown that sells old games so I went and bought the Sims and became extremely addicted.

Exciting News !

I have been working on lots of codes for my blog today.. and I think I may have found one that I like. It involves this background image :

I may easily change my mind though.. we will see. I am going to try and have enough patients to actually wait until I am done all of my exams to change it, but that probably won't happen.

Study break.. 

It was a very lovely [cold] sunny day today so went outside for a lovely photo session. Here are some of my favorite pictures. You can check out Clare's blog here [shes the one in green]. She just started her blog recently! It's all about fashion and I am sure she would love some new visitor's !

Study Study Study !

I have a philosophy exam tomorrow morning at nine and I am falling asleep. So I made some coffee and I that should keep me up ! Only 8 days till I am done ! Can't wait to go back home to my lovely bed. Although when I get home I think I am going to actually clean out my room.. that will take a while. Oh well .. back to studying for me !

Last night I watched the new episode of Glee [of course]. It was awesome as usual. Well worth the wait.

It is now time to get back to studying.. First exam is on Friday. My study breaks have been consisting of blogging and making little hair bows. I might have some pictures up of the new little hair bows I made. They are pretty cute ! As for now.. here is a picture of me studying. [all my friends will think I am lame for taking this, but oh well] 

Ps. I am really just pretending to study while I take the picture.

Last night ...

So I mentioned in my last post that I was going to have TV dinners for supper last night. Well it turns out that there are just so many different kinds of TV dinners that it is extremely hard to choose. So we ended up cooking an actual meal. It was never really possible to cook a meal in a University Residence until I got my panini maker. It is the best thing that has ever entered my room. You can cook almost anything on it! Between the panini grill and the microwave we had quite a lovely meal. 

It consisted of :

• Honey garlic sausage
• Potato salad
• Brussel sprouts
• Beans

 Ps. sorry if you are vegetarian

And it was sooo good

I think it was a pretty good meal for a panini grill and a microwave. If you don't have a panini grill or even worse, you don't know what it is, you need to get one ASAP !

ps. Thanks Joshua for the lovely dinner :) it was delish.

just some bows..

I saw a really cute picture of a red bow today and it inspired me to [finally] make these bows I have been meaning to make. I found this diy on a Beautiful Mess, you can check it out here.

Here are a few pictures of what I have done so far. They are so easy so I am planning on making many more. I think they turned out really cute.

Two of them are bobby pins and the other one is a hair elastic. 

I can't decide which way I like it better...

I am really excited about them ! It will be a great study break activity since this next week is going to be packed with studying. This means that my posts may not be as frequent because of all the work I will [should] be doing. However, when I am done my first year of University I will have tons of time to make stuff and blog, and hopefully start my Etsy shop ! I am soooo excited about that. It is going to be so awesome to have four months of summer ! Even though I will be working to pay for next year of school. I will have to do a post on my summer job ! Wait till you see my uniform [something to look forward to for sure].

Ps. Today is mine and Joshua's 2 year anniversary [of dating] !

We are celebrating by getting a couple of TV dinners..
