Crochet Inspired Instagrams

I thought I would share some of my fave instagram photos that I have taken of crochet items. I am super into crocheting right now (maybe because if the weather) and so I take lots of photos of it! I am really into the chevron pattern right now! I have been making lots of infinity scarves out of it that I am hoping to sell at the local farmer's market soon. The second photo is of a blanket I am working on slowly. It is pretty huge so it is taking a while. 

I have been thinking about doing some crocheting tutorials soon, would anyone be interested in learning anything specific to crocheting? ldc

Ahhh... Yarn.

I have collected some lovely new hat patterns and I am excited to sit down and start crocheting some for the winter. I am pretty excited about winter because I am not really a fan of the heat and I miss my sweaters. So bring it on winter because I am ready for ya! xo ldc

New Crochet Project!

Hello everyone! So I just wanted to show you my new crochet project that I am working on! As I was looking through weheartit.com for inspirational photos I cam across these photos of crochet vests.

I really wanted one but I couldn't find a site that sold one that I liked. So I decided to search around for a pattern. The best one I could find was this one.

It's a lot longer than I wanted and it doesn't have the awesome tassles. So I decided to change the pattern! I have just started working on it and I will let you know how it turns out! I am pretty excited. Have you been working on anything cool lately? xo ldc

Barefoot Sandals

I was looking through crochet photos on we heart is dot com and I found this photos of barefoot sandals and now I really want to make some! I am currently searching the internet for a pattern I like.. although I may just end up making my own pattern. I got back into making hats and made my own pattern for summer crochet slouchy hats. They are basically like my winter ones but are more "holey."

Alright! I had a little break and I searched and found this pattern. It's not as cool as the one above.. but I might be able to alter it a bit! Let me know if you have a cool pattern for these! If not, I will try and make one up and then I will post it!

New Crochet Hat Design + Headband

Hello Everyone!
So I have been doing a lot of crocheting lately and I recently started making a new style of hat. You may have seen my other style of slouchy hats as well. I thought I would share my new hats and see what you think! I am going to be selling stuff at our local market this weekend and I am super excited! I will show pictures for sure.

I also made a few headbands for the market this weekend.

They are crochet hearts. Kaila and I are working on a few other Valentines day themed things as well! I am so excited! Friday we are going to have another craft day to get everything ready then Saturday its market time! If you want to see all of my products you can visit my Facebook Group.

yarn&crochet

 I went to the market today and bought some new pretty wool! I want to make some slouchy hats with it but I am afraid it may be a little itchy.. but I just love the colours so I might do it anyways.


This is the hat Ia m working on right now, its about half way there. It is for a friend of mine. This yarn is very soft and not the least bit itchy.

Here is my slouchy hat. It's my fave because it matches my hair :)

Tonight all of my friends and I are getting all dressed up and then out to eat! 

I will try and get some lovely photos!

Free Leg Warmer Pattern!

I found this free legwarmer pattern via Crochet Today! I guess the yarn used is discontinued, but it's easy to use some other yarn! They look pretty simple if you know basic crochet skills!

Vintage Crochet Patterns

I just came across this website with free vintage crochet patterns! They look pretty intense but I would like to try one out sometime! Here are a few peaks at the patterns they have.

I really want to learn to make some slippers now. I am doing well with my hats so far. I am on my sixth one. I am a little obsessive I think. I like to make a bunch of the same thing and then I get bored and move on to something else. Sometimes I will stop making something for a while and then go back to it and become obsessed again! Hehe.

Granny Square

HELLO !
I have been practicing my granny squares but they are still all lumpy and circley [un-square]. They are getting better though ! It is so fun to just sit there and make them. I love projects that don't take too much time :)

ps. I think I may have my serger working, so I hope to do some projects soon. We will see how it goes. I only have this week because I start working next week. I will still have time to do stuff.. just less time!
