HELLO !
I have been practicing my granny squares but they are still all lumpy and circley [un-square]. They are getting better though ! It is so fun to just sit there and make them. I love projects that don't take too much time :)
Check out what I have to far :

ps. I think I may have my serger working, so I hope to do some projects soon. We will see how it goes. I only have this week because I start working next week. I will still have time to do stuff.. just less time!

You'll get the hang of grannies soon! When I was a kid, my Mom taught me to crochet by making me do each step until it was perfect. I swear I had a 50ft. chain. Then I hand a huge block of single crochet, then double... and so on. I learned grannies the same way... repetition. Practice makes perfect! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteummm your first grannies are WAY better than mine lol -Mine were circles :)
ReplyDeleteI love your colors! And all that fabric in the background ;)
Thank you for your sweet post! Karl over at the itsy bitsy spider is the master of crochet!
great pictures!
ReplyDeleteThis looks exactly like the crochet quilt that my grandmother used to make when we were little. She's now almost 100 y.o. Brings back memories.
