Hair Clips !

I made some hair clips today, trying to make some last minute things before its complete study time ! Ugh. It's not going to be fun at all. However, I am going home for the summer in less than three weeks! Wow the school year went by fast ! Hopefully I will still have time to do some blogging in between studying.. we shall see ! 

Anyways, for now I have these pretty hair clips :)

In the Sewing mood...

So I decided to do some sewing today. I have had a vision in my head for the past few weeks and I had to let it out. I ended up with two purses that I really like. I am about to start my third.

 

 

 

 

 

A Crown for my Sister...

I made my sister this crown for Christmas. 

She is in a phase where she loves anything

thats girly and pink. 

All I did was take two pieces of felt and cut them in 

a crown shape and then sew along the top 

edge. Then to keep the two pieces together 

I sewed some swirls on it. It still looked a 

little boring so I added the buttons. 

In this next picture you can see where I added 

the elastic for the back of the head. 

It was so easy and it turned out really cute!

Blue & Green

There once was a beautiful owl.. 

He had the most beautiful blue and green eyes...

Unfortunately he got in a horrible accident.. 

And his beautiful blue and green eyes were never the same.. 

But he was still beautiful on the inside.. 

And that my friends is the story of the blue and green eyed owl.

BUTTONS !

These are my awesome new buttons ! I am so excited to use them.

I asked a family member to make me a couple of circle buttons

but he decided to go above and beyond and make me a bunch of square ones

too ! I really should be studying ... but instead my creative mind keeps rolling...

Maybe studying can wait till after supper ?

Thats all of them.. 

The light coloured ones are made of a wild cherry tree and the dark

ones are made from an apple tree. They are finished tung oil. 

The one in my hand is a huge square one.. its so cool. The other ones are smaller 

I like it that the holes are not all in the same spot for all of them. 

They are all so different. I love it !

This is the biggest one of all. I will have to think up something extremely

cool to do with it in order to give it justice. 

I am so excited to discover what I can do with all of these. I have some great

purse ideas and fabric ideas that I think will turn out awesome.
