TV Series: Friday Night Lights

Hello! So I really like watching TV series, usually ones that have a lot of episodes that have already premiered on TV. I hate having to wait a week in between episodes so I try and choose shows that are over or have a few series under their belts. I thought I would start sharing a few of the shows I watch for those of you who are looking to waste your time with television like I do.

Anyways, I just finished watching all five seasons of Friday Night Lights. For those of you who have not seen it I would describe it as Degrassi with a football team. It's full of drama and thus it's awesome. The characters change up a bit each year because people graduate and new students come in, but you learn to love the new characters as much as the old. I am really sad that I have seen all the episodes and contemplated watching the entire four seasons over again ... until I discovered Dexter.

What I Want Wednesday

This Wednesday I really want a time laps camera! It allows you to make time laps videos (duh!) with no hassle! It's better than using your actual camera because it is weather proof and it makes it straight into a video instead of stitching it yourself. It also has a micro setting which would be wicked. There are so many possibilities.. especially since I am living out in the wilderness this summer! Mhmm.. I really think I need to invest in one of these.

Where have I been..

Hello! You may have noticed that I have not blogged in a while.. That is because I am currently living in an internet-less house. At first it was really hard to live with only the internet I had on my phone, but I have gotten used to it. The reason I have no internet is because I am living in the middle of nowhere on an island. The photo above is the view from my front porch. It is a beautiful 99 acre property and the house is shaped like a hexagon. I am living there because of my summer job which is a project on coastal erosion. This requires me to boat to islands and do local interviews to study the extent of the erosion and its impact on the community. It is really awesome and I am super lucky to be doing it. So, anyways - I am going to do my best to continue to blog but just letting you know it may be a little sporadic.

Hello! Guess what? Today is my last day of class for my third year of university! It is also one of the worst days in terms of work load! So, while I was feeling stressed today I went to Pinterest and looked at lots of pretty colours. I love all of these things, and I really wish I had the money to spend on that scarf! It's so frigging pretty.. I would prob wear it everyday, cause it would match everything.

Anyways, I am going home tomorrow for a couple of weeks, then coming back to school for my exam, then off to work for the summer! Hope you all have a lovely Easter! xo ldc
