New Hair !

Died my hair again.. hehe. It is really fun! It looks blueish right now, but once I wash it a bit it will be a little more purple, it's just super dark right now.

 And... some comic relief...

Playing in the Snow!

Just Got Home for the Holidays !

I just got home for Christmas from school today ! My little sis and I went out and took pics of the pretty tree my Step Dad made for our front lawn! Very crafty of him! The lights looked so pretty shinning on the snow!

 My little sis ! She turns 7 in 6 days !! I can't believe it !!

Power Outage in Pictures

So the power on campus went out last night and just turned on a couple of hours ago! It is very interesting hanging out on campus with now power! It is exam week so we were studying when the power went out! I was suppose to have an exam tonight and tomorrow morning but they were both postponed till January! Luck me :) So here is our last 24 hours in pictures!

 I definitely played around taking pics of markers for a solid 20 minutes.. or more.

Today we found an outlet that was powered by the generator! Everyone was plugging stuff in... It got worse later on when people were trying to plug their TV in. haha.

Overall... a very interesting 24 hours with no power! Glad it is back on, and I don't have to study for exams anymore! (well, until January hehe)

Inspiration for my new hair!

So when I saw this picture on the blog Honestly wtf as a diy inspiration, I knew I needed to do that to my hair. As of right now I am still trying to find a place that will do it for me. I thought you guys would be interested in seeing this if you haven't already. The original pic came from the Free People clothing store.

Here is the video showing how they did her hair like that. Her's is actually fake.

So here is my new hair... I just got it done a couple of hours ago, and I am not allowed to put shampoo on it until Thursday, I think some of the colour might come out once I wash it.

First Snowfall

 This is Kaila and I. She just dyed her hair red. Pretty isn't it?

It just started snowing really hard today and there were lots of people having snow fights all around campus.

 This is the front lawn of the school. I go to Acadia University in Nova Scotia if you are curious. It's a small school of about 3,000 on campus.

 Here are the pretty prints from my boots. I love snow flakes!

 Here are a bunch of students having a snowball fight. This is one of the oldest residents on campus. My grandmother stayed there when she went to Acadia about 50 years ago.

I ran into my friend Rhema. She is from the Bahamas and has never seen snow before! She was so excited, it was awesome!

It was a lovely day. We spent the first part of the day at a huge Christmas craft fair. So fun!

Farmers Market Booth

Kaila and I had our first market booth at the farmers market last week. We have a table and sell things for any students on campus that want to participate. We had about four different people who participated. It was a lot of fun. Here are some pics I took!

We had homemade pasta (twice) so good!

Apple Cider Making

All of the students in the ESST program (environmental Sustainability Studies) were invited to make apple cider at one of our professors houses. Here are some photos from the day! It was kind of rainy but I think the photos of the apples turned out really good!

The Bounty: A Pirate Ship
